Rice paper rolls - perfect party food.

These rice paper rolls are very easy and quick to make. They are also great for parties!
You can buy the rice paper at your own super market, all you need
do is to dunk each sheet carefully in warm water for thirty seconds, then fill it with fried rice or noodles!
( Since I am a fan of rice and especially fried rice you can guess which one I go for when I
make them!!! )

Raspberry madness!

We have so many raspberries this year that we are picking them every day!
We surprised mum and dad on New Year's Day with a home made raspberry thick shake for breakfast! They loved it!

My 7 year old brother even made this amazing raspberry ice cream cake for Christmas day.
It was delicious.

With more raspberries ripening in our garden I'm looking forward to trying some other recipes.
I love summer!

Baked chocolate cheescake.

I baked this deliciously rich chocolate cheesecake for my big sister's birthday.  With 3 eggs in it, it required baking in the oven for 75 minutes and then needed to be put in the fridge to set fully.

I topped it with fresh raspberries from our garden and some grated chocolate.
I'll definitely be making this again!

Homemade meatballs and spaghetti.

I really enjoyed making these delicious meat balls, which got devoured, as soon as I put them down on the table! Ever since I got the ' Jamie Oliver's 30 minute meals ' cook book for my birthday, I have been challenging myself to get my own meals done in 30, or 15, minutes! I normally get them done in around that time!  They are delicious and very easy!    By Chic 3

Melt in your mouth Banana Bread.

I love baking this simple but delicious banana bread.

It is perfect for morning tea!

I bake it in mum's nut vintage loaf tins, but if you don't have any of those you can use any food tins that have been emptied and washed out.

Pancakes

Pancakes! It is so wonderful to creep into the kitchen early in the morning and bake a surprise batter of pancakes for breakfast! All three of us sisters love pancakes, (especially because the cook gets to devour the extra one!!) and as a bonus its one of the simplest recipes that you can get!

Ingredients:
Makes 8       -

2 cups Plain Flour

2 cups Milk
2 Eggs

Method:

Place ingredients all into a bowl, and whisk together till smooth. Then turn on a hot-plate to about half-way. Pull out a frying pan, and place it on the hot-plate. Then, dish a small piece of butter into the pan and spread it around. After that scoop some Pancake batter out with a ladle, and pour it on the surface of the butter. Wait till it is cooked well on one side, and then flip it over to the other. Repeat method till your bowl of mixture has completely disappeared!

 Bon Appetite!!
